My ford fiesta metal build thread

Previously had a 12 plate fiesta MK7 TDCI 95ps with a DPF, the DPF was going to cause to many headaches if I modded the car so I decided to bite the bullet with economy and got a Fiesta Metal,

Pics of the car before I collected it

Decided to fit my wind deflectors, dmb overlays and grill from the last fiesta, post-52178-141008702764_thumb.jpg

Then removed the wing mirror caps for spraying

Fitted the wing mirrors and installed a 2400watt sub

Then took the car for a spin up to Kielder water, got 40mpg round trip, used to average about 47mph in the Zetec S which isn't that much difference, although when I out my foot down a bit more it goes down to about 32mpg

Then bought some hub cap overlays as I didn't like the blue ones in a white car:

post-52178-141008771614_thumb.jpg

Bought some white dmb overlays off eBay..

post-52178-141008774712_thumb.jpg

They didn't fit so bought some mountune ones..

post-52178-141008779342_thumb.jpg

Then through hours of searching on the forums I found someone willing to print for overlays so ordered myself some of these front and back

post-52178-141008787021_thumb.jpg

And some white hub caps in 55 mm from them, I kept the steering wheel badge in white from the last fiesta but I'm not sure it goes with the piano black interior so I'm looking to change that to black with white ford logo and yellow outcome to match my mountune floor mats.

Next steps are to wait until the hub caps ford badge over lays arrive. Possible buy some metal edition badges - still not to keen on the idea, get a mountune short shifter + gaiter, then possible panel filter and induction hose.

Eventually I'm wanting to get a MP155, but would like to see more than 155ps from it, been looking at a few different routes such as a turbo but I don't really know what I'm doing too much and 3.5k seems a bit pricy haha, so if anyone has any ideas on how to boost the bhp past 155 I'd be happy to hear that, wether that be MR155 and additional parts or something different all together, the sub was a bit difficult to install not he 1st fiesta but this time I used this clever contraption to get the cables through grommets and it took no longer that 45minutes to install

Don't know if I like the colour of the fog light surrounds and the front aero blade so tempted to get them sprayed black if the insurance will play ball, apparently my car is "heavily" modified as it is..
