JAR897
Dear All, I now know the exact spec of the car I want, minus the colour. The car will have the chrome window line, with blacked out windows (just like the Titanium). However it will also have the full exterior body kit (just like the Zetec S!). It will ALSO have the 17" alloys. I'm looking at exactly the same spec as HedgePig (but Ill have the technology pack too)... Anyway it will look identical (minus the colour) to this: HedgePigs Real-Life example: Other Example: So the question is... Will it look better in white or in Sea Gray? These two pictures predict what each will look like: SEA GRAY: FROST WHITE: NOTE THAT THE STOCK PHOTOS ABOVE DO NOT HAVE THE BODY KIT ATTACHMENT WHERE AS HEDGEPIG'S DOES! I WILL ALSO HAVE GRAY LEATHER INTERIOR IF THAT WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO WHICH YOU WOULD PCIK!?!? WHICH COLOUR LOOKS BETTER? THANKS! MichellefromEssex
Frost white? is that different to my colour (Frozen white)? I would go for that but then I am biased lol, but personally I dont like the chrome around the windows and I am glad I didnt have it. I have a Vision Blue Titanium with the body kit, leather interior and 17 inch wheels, you can see photos Here.

JAR897
Yea I am leaning towards white (and yes it was a typo). The advantages and disadvantages are as follows: WHITE; ADV - Rain marks don't show / Looks cool / brings out body kit / turns heads DISADV - shows dirt easy / may not be as good to sell on / looses chrome a little GRAY; ADV - dirt doesn't show (well it does just not as much as white) / shows chrome / looks possibly more professional? DISADV - Shows rain marks easier / looses body kit / blends into normal cars more Basically The main contributing factor is the dirt etc... Would it be possible for anyone (particularly MichellefromEssex) to take a photo or two of the car when it is dirty? ;) dirty girl. Thanks in advance.... I still can't make up my mind though. p.s. I am (or wil be once I graduate) an IT Professional ... so we are aloud to have cool and outlandish cars! Basically what im trying to say is that the "professionalism" of a car (i.e. how business-like the car looks) has little influence on me... I say this because i did an A level dissertation regarding the likelyhood of being offered a job based on the colour of your car... results showed that black and white had the best results, while reds and blues and greens were less influential. Obviously this isn't a 100% proven thing... but my results were pretty accurate and obviously it was under controlled conditions. Anyway... thats why im so picky about the colour... but to loop around to where i began it doesn't realy effect the IT profession as we are expected to have "cool techy cars!" lol. Is there any way i can create a poll???
MichellefromEssex
Now I never have a dirty car as my OH is a mobile car valeter and our car has to be gleaming at all times , now his take on colours, being someone who cleans them every day, is steer clear of dark as they show the dirt more (I agree on this after having a black merc which always seemed dirty) they also show every tiny mark/scratch more than say white, however his favourite colour to clean that always looks lovely is silver, but as we had already had a silver BMW and a silver tigra years ago we didnt want it again. This week the weather has been great so my car has only been cleaned once, but I promise to take a pic when the weather changes lol Oh and being an office worker and my OH running his own business we both drive white vehicles!!!!!!! RIIIDAA
Get it in the white! I would have but ford mobility wouldn't let me lease a non-metalic one (dumb) Example photo (not my car) Looks great doesn't it? (better with door windows tinted too IMO) Anyway I went with Squeeze for mine (nicknamed the Green Hornet)
dja55
I would 100% go for GREEN. My wifes Fiesta is Green/squeeze and i love it and it stands out for all the right reasons. Now seeing it with a body kit it definitely looks brilliant. Well it would be GREEN or WHITE for me. Agree about black being liable to scratches and dirt etc... As for resale dont be concerned as white and green and all the new vibrant colours you are seeing are the trend and will be for some time to come. People are slowly turning their backs on boring Grey/Silver/Black cars.
RIIIDAA
I agree that white is the new silver, so many silver humdrum cars on the road now. White resale values I predict will be fine. Fiat would have let me have a white non-metalic on their range, on the same scheme. I went for Squeeze for the fact that it does look the nuts, and that not everyone will go for it, I also wanted to blow a rasberry at ford mobility because I think resale wise it may be harder to shift squeeze than it would have the white they opposed when my three year lease expires, it's a niche colour. The Sea grey would have been the fallback, it looks more executive like I agree but its a ford not an A3, and I think I'd have gotten bored with it after a while - it would blend in but that's not always a good thing. The Squeeze with tints and aggressive alloys is not a million miles away from the new RS focus look.
