Heat problems

I have had my Puma Titanium 2024 for 6 weeks and not happy with the car’s heating, had a 2022 Puma Titanium previously with no heat problems at all, just put it on auto and it worked perfectly.

Problem with the 2024 the AUTO climate control doesn’t work.

The owners manual states for the system to function efficiently, the instrument panel and side air vents should be fully open.
To quickly heat the Interior, Press AUTO, Adjust the temperature function to the setting you prefer, Use 22°C (72°F) as a starting point, then adjust the setting as necessary. When using the recommended settings I don’t get any heat from the 4 front vents, selecting the vents manually heat can be directed to them. Have had it back to the dealer who maintained NFF because they fiddled with the controls to warm the car but when I explained and demonstrated what the AUTO  function should do they agreed the car appeared faulty and would check a similar car and get back to me, still waiting.

At this time of year auto will prioritise the windscreen. 
 

Do you get any air out of the vents or is it just cold air?

I don’t get any air at all from the front vents even when the car has been running for 20 minutes or more. Warm air can be directed to the vents by going into the touchscreen and selecting where to direct the airflow which proves the vents work.
