Fiesta MK6 Speedometer clock blue light conversion

Hi everyone. 

Turning to this forum as I'm really struggling to find answers elsewhere. I'm wanting to change the interior lights of my car from green to blue. I've done the majority of switches (windows. Headlights. Heating switches etc) via a gentleman on Facebook who sells the parts ready to install. However I can't find any information on how to change the speedometer lights. He sells these converted, but only for the Facelift model whereas I'm driving the Pre-Facelift.

Does anyone know which bulbs are used in the speedometer and does anyone know how to replace the small green screen that displays my fuel tank level so I can put a blue green in too

 

Any help would be fantastic!

I'm not saying for sure, but @rd457 might be able to advise on how it could be changed.

I haven't actually worked on a unit of this specific model before, but some models of similar age have LCDs that are soldered to the board with a set of LEDs behind them for backlighting. Don't expect to be able to find alternate kinds of LCDs to fit, but you wouldn't necessarily need to anyway. The green, as best as I recall, entirely comes from the LED backlights on such designs, so it would probably be enough to swap those LEDs with some blue ones.
