Hi all I had an advisory on MOT this year and wondered if anyone else has had this problem and how expensive is it to fix.

Lots of Ford's have this problem.  It's the rear suspension bushes.

Parts are fairly cheap but it takes a couple of hours each side to replace them so expensive in labour.

As it's only an advisory this year, it's up to you whether you decide to have them replaced or just keep an eye on it for now.

The worn bushes are also likely to be the reason for your tyre edge-wear.

The worn bushes definitely are the reason for your inner tyre wear, had the same on my Ford Galaxy(all now sorted) and even after changing the suspension bushes you will need to have the full 4 wheel geometry/alignment done to ensure the issue is sorted.

Yeah that’s what the bloke at Kwik fit said. Got plenty of tread over 95% of the tyre so no rush
