Keyless Entry and GPS Not working

Hey all,

So... it all seems to be working again! That's why I'm a bit late with an update - I've been waiting to see if it stops working again.

I went to the car specifically to mess around with the wiring and see what I could see. Not expecting it to be working I opened the door using the blade key, but then I noticed the alarm pips weren't sounding when I opened the door... so I tried the fob and, well, it worked... and has been ever since!

I didn't get to checking the wiring so it's not like I've fixed a loose connection whilst messing around or anything - it just randomly started working again. Both key fobs. So far at least it's not stopped working again either. I ran another scan for DTCs out of curiosity and the same ones showed up as last time - including the one about losing communication with Door Control Module D - but now everything seems fine.

I literally haven't tried or changed a thing since my last post. It just works now for some reason. I'm so confused lol.

I'm guessing it's perhaps an intermittent fault and it'll probably show up again in the future. Or maybe there was/is a loose or corroded connection somewhere and it's 'fixed itself' whilst driving around?

Anyone got any likely explanations?

I'm not sure what to do now, if anything, whilst it continues to work but just wanted to post the update here and thank you all again for your valuable input and advice.

I'm still having the intermittent issue with the GPS but I'll start another thread about that soon as it's clearly a separate issue.
