Hayley112
Hi, I am new here and looking for help I own a 13 plate ecoboost Fiesta. The bearings went in my turbo, so my local Ford garage fitted me a new turbo. Since having the car back it feels I have no boost. The car is very sluggish and feels no where near as fast as it use to be before the bearings caused a problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm not knowledgeable with cars and can't afford to face anymore costs after the hefty bill for the turbo. Many thanks Hayley
Eric Bloodaxe
Hi Hayley, Assuming you noticed a loss of power immediately on leaving the dealership after having the turbo replacement, I'd suggest taking it up with them in the first instance.
Bobr
I agree with Roger. Take it straight back.
RayC333
I agree take it back. Concerning that Ford didn't check its operation before returning the car. Hopefully it's something simple. Nb. Most turbo's fail for an associated reason, did Ford check that the oil feed and scavenge were ok, that there was no issue with water cooling? I would ask them.
