Tomw879
I am completely new to these so please bare with me! I have a Fiesta Zetec S 1.6 Petrol (2012) and wondered what possible upgrades I can do? Is there anything I can do with this model? Or is an engine swap better and if so what can fit in the bay? Not bothered by the looks of the car because I like it standard just want power upgrades or is that a noob thing to say?!
Luke4efc
You won't get much power without major work (and money) as it's a naturally aspirated engine. You can remap it but you're looking at 5-10hp which isn't noticeable in the real world. Engine swaps aren't really economical anymore, especially if you're declaring them to the DVLA and insurance companies. Much cheaper and easier to buy a faster car to start with. People after more power aren't noobs lol. Certainly better than those who believe debadging their car, having red brake calipers, and painting their wheels and other trim pieces black means they own a race car. TimST3
Great looking car. I owned a red 2012 Zetec until recently and I always liked the Zetec S. As Luke says you'd probably be better off getting an ST if you want more power (or if you want factory-fitted red brake calipers and painted wheels [emoji6]). zain611
Yeah there is no reason really to push more power out as its N / A. I'd just do little subtle mods if you want to touch it like painting the brake calipers or fitting LED lights around.
